Centennial Commencement Plus One
ECU alum Randy Grinnell (class of ’76), deputy director for the Indian Health Service, an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, delivered this spring’s commencement address, which emphasized the importance of investment, integrity and influence.
Ten English majors were listed in the program as candidates for Bachelor’s degrees: Aaron Courtney Buchanan, Siedra DeAnn Caleb, Christi Joanna Carruth, Destiny Fergueson, Holly Kristine Fipps, Jeff O. Harrison, Raymond Luke Lackey, Shanon Lynn Norton (see photo at left, taken by the Ada Evening News), and Michaela Kathrine Worcester.
It was the last ECU commencement ceremony for Drs. John Yozzo (who led the faculty procession) and Wendy Leraas.
