Mentor Responsibilities: It’s simple. You’ll be assigned to a group of 3 or 4 sophomore majors. As a mentor, you’ll be their guide to negotiating how to function as a major and survive departmental requirements. We’ll train you how to answer questions, how to make students feel like an integral part of the department, and in general, handle most situations that may occur. You’ll also be supported by a faculty member. Training is required, so expect to go through around an hour of training about once a semester. Peace, all! Dr. M
