Oklahoma Humanities Council's Curiosity Fest Needs Volunteers! This Saturday!

Oklahoma Humanities Council's Second Annual Curiosity Fest is looking for volunteers to help greet guests, monitor sessions, and do general behind-the-scenes help this Saturday, October 5th at the OCU School of Law!

What's the Curiosity Fest? Basically, it's a series of sessions where local scholars and experts give talks on a variety of subjects around a given theme; this year's theme is "Civility," and the themes range from Arabic Literature to Science Fiction to Socialism in Oklahoma. Volunteers can attend the sessions for free, and contribute to a great arts event in Oklahoma, one that is very well attended and is a great place to meet people and learn new ideas. Many professors from universities around the state will be presenting, and even Dr. Joshua Grasso (yours truly) will be presenting on The Importance of Speculative Literature (a very civil way to discuss the pressing issues of our day!).

The volunteer sign-up form is here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70a0f4eaca92ea1fc1-curiosity

For more information about the sessions, click here: https://okhumanities.org/curiosityfest

Let me (Dr. Joshua Grasso) know if you have any questions about the event. I went last year and it was well worth the trip up to Oklahoma City.
